organises the NextGenPSD2 Conference 2018 (hereafter: Conference). Conference programme details and information how to make bookings can be found on the Conference Website (https://xs2a-inpractice.eu). To facilitate participant registration, ordering, billing, VAT handling, accounting, invoicing and cancellation/refund, SRC offers a Booking Service. These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the SRC Booking Service.

The relevant fee for the Conference is the one shown on the Conference Website at the time of registration and ordering. SRC reserves the right to change the relevant fee at any time. The relevant fee grants only access to the Conference events, refreshments, lunch and the optional ‘Get Together’ events but does not include any other related costs (e.g. travel arrangements). Registered participants have to organise their own travel itinerary and make their own travel bookings. All amounts are payable using external third-party payment providers and accordingly SRC is not affiliated with, and has no agency or employment relationship with, any external third-party payment provider and has no responsibility for, and hereby disclaims all liability, including, but not limited to any losses, costs, fees and penalties of whatever nature arising from, the acts and omissions of any external third-party payment provider.

While SRC endeavours to ensure that the Booking Service is normally available 24 hours a day, SRC shall not be liable if for any reason the Booking Service is unavailable at any time or for any period. At the discretion of SRC, access to the Booking Service may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond SRC’s control.

After ordering (including payment), registered participants will receive

  • an order confirmation via email with the order summary, the Conference details, an e-ticket and other relevant information
  • an invoice to the attention of buyer with all registration details included

The total price including all charges is due immediately upon registration. The Booking Service facilitates online payment via credit card. All relevant fees including all charges shall be paid prior to the Conference date, otherwise access to the Conference will not be permitted. Payment is in EUR.

For any questions related to registration/billing/invoicing/cancellation/refund, please contact conference@berlin-group.org with the order code of the booking order.

Cancellation policy:

Until 24 October 2018 a service handling fee of € 75,- (plus VAT) will be imposed on cancellations for the Conference. Cancellations are no longer possible after 24 October 2018 and the full participation fee is then due. Transfer of registration to a colleague within the same company is possible and should be mentioned in the email cancellation message at least two days before the start of the Conference. Since registration will be limited to a maximum of 2 persons per company on a ‘First Come – First Serve’ basis, SRC preserves the right to cancel registrations (and apply the service handling fee of € 75,- plus VAT) in case of more than 2 registrations per company.

In case, for whatever reason, the Conference is cancelled by the Berlin Group, the registered participant will be informed via the registered email address and the already paid relevant fee will be refunded. No other related costs (e.g. travel arrangements) will be refunded. If a registered participant cannot attend the conference as a result of events which are beyond control of SRC or which SRC cannot reasonably be expected to influence or for which SRC is not responsible, the already paid relevant fee will not be refunded. Without limitation, such events shall include force majeure, visa refusal, government or other official regulations, natural disasters, strikes of any kind whatsoever, civil, international or other crises, or any other unforeseen circumstances.

SRC and the employees or agents of SRC exclude all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to registered participants or a third party (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of business, loss of income, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, loss or corruption of data, or loss or damage arising from or connected in any way to business interruption, and whether in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise) in connection with the Conference Website or Booking Service in any way or in connection with the use, inability to use or the results of use of the Conference Website or the Booking Service, any website linked to the Conference Website or the material on those websites, including but not limited to loss or damage due to malicious software that may infect computer equipment, software, data or other property on account to, use of, or browsing the Conference Website or downloading of any material from the Conference Website or any websites linked to the Conference Website.

SRC does not warrant the accuracy and completeness of the material on the Conference Website. The Booking Service (including all hardware and software comprising the Booking Service) and the material on the Conference Website is provided “as is”, without any conditions, warranties or other terms of any kind. Accordingly, to the maximum extent permitted by law, SRC provides the Conference Website and the Booking Service on the basis that SRC excludes all representations, warranties, conditions and other terms (including, without limitation, the conditions implied by law of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and the use of reasonable care and skill) which, but for these Terms & Conditions, might have effect in relation to the Conference Website or the Booking Service.

These Terms & Conditions should be read in conjunction with the applicable Dataprivacy Policy.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with German Law. Disputes arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts.
